Fr Gildasio Dos Santos Mendes SDB, General Counsellor for Social Communication in the Salesian Congregation
The workshop introduced me to new and creative ways to shoot videos with a more technical approach. This learning experience has truly enhanced my skills and broadened my perspective in the field of media and communication.
The mobile journalism workshop perfectly demonstrated the potential of storytelling with smartphones. Sessions on public speaking and framing shots raised the professionalism of our work. The classes perfectly combined the technical skills and creativity of our message.
Now, I use these skills for evangelization, creating faith-based content that I hope in turn reaches a wider audience. This training has made me more efficient, adaptable, and confident in sharing the message of faith through digital media.
Through the mobile workshop journalism experience, I significantly broadened my knowledge and acquired essential skills in smartphone photography and videography. I can now use a mobile phone to capture high quality images and footage.
Living in the digital world, we need to learn how to explore and use digital technology like MoJo to share information and create short clips.
It's very needed in this contemporary world of technology. The practical classes encourage and cultivate the behaviour of being confident on what one does, enhance creativity and promote evangelization.
The well-prepared content and hands-on guidance allowed for a deeper understanding and a higher quality of photos, videos, and editing.
MoJo workshops helped us to adapt to a rapid technological change and realize how we can capture photos, videos and audios on the go and still do a good job. MoJo workshops were worth doing it. Thumbs up Social Communications Department from General House for great initiative.
The hands-on training helped me improve my skills and gave me new perspectives on how to reach audiences effectively. I feel more confident now in using mobile tools for impactful storytelling. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to leverage their smartphone for creative content creation!
With MoJo one can capture multimedia content and interact with audiences in real-time. It enhances storytelling and audience engagement. It enables solo reporting and citizen journalism and helps digital missionaries to bring out the Gospel messages to the masses.
The MoJo workshop in its entirety provided me with the essential guidelines and techniques, in both theory and practice, to be an effective journalist, who carries the values of the Gospel, in the Digital Village as a Digital Missionary.
